What information do I need to sign up?
Name – A company name can be used by clicking the option under “First Name”
Email Address – this is where all payment notifications will be sent
Bank Sort Code
Bank Account Number
Your Business Address (where the bank account is registered)
Why should you sign up for Direct Debit?
By signing up for direct debit you save your business the monthly admin fee on your account.
You only need to setup payment once. By filling in the form you do not have to remember to make payments on time.
You will automatically get notification about payments, usually 3 days in advance. This gives you chance to get in contact if you wish to query a payment.
Your Direct Debit payment is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee which means you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund for any payment taken in error.
We utilise a third party (Go Cardless) to manage the whole process. They are authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and have ISO 27001 information security systems in place.
When will payments be taken?
All of our direct debit customers receive 30-day terms on ongoing services. You will receive notification 3 days before payment is taken but an estimate is shown on each of your invoices, sent out the previous month.
What to do if you disagree with an invoice
If you disagree with an invoice, please pick up the phone or send an email to accounts. We are human and we make errors so please let us know if things are not right.
We believe in complete honesty and transparency. If we have made an error, we will apologise and make things right.
If payment has been taken incorrectly, we will always repay this back to your bank account within one working day of receiving your account details (we do not have access to your bank details so we will request them to make a refund).
What happens if your Direct Debit payment doesn’t go through?
We encourage you to contact us if you foresee any problems with collection of your Direct Debit payment, we are more than happy to discuss other payment options with you if required.
We use an automatic system for Direct Debit collection, so if we are not notified to suspend a Direct Debit collection, this will attempt to process your payment on the expected collection date and again the following week continuously recurring.
Please note, for every unsuccessful attempt at payment, there will be a 2% failure fee automatically added to the next collection attempt, continuously recurring.
If the Direct Debit collection fails to go through on more than 2 consecutive monthly invoices, future invoices will be subject to a monthly admin fee, in addition to the 2% failure fee for each failed collection attempt.
What happens if you cancel your Direct Debit
If you decide to no longer pay by Direct Debit- no problem! Just contact our friendly accounts team, at least 1 week prior to the invoice due date, and they will remove you from the Direct Debit system.
Once a cancellation request has been received by our accounts team, we will contact your Billing Contact on the email address supplied, to check that this is to be confirmed.
We will then update your invoice, and future invoices, to include a small admin fee to cover the time of our team processing your payments.
